Well today’s face-off is between the Top 2 sides of the league,both eager to qualify for the playoffs in today’s game. Last time when the two teams faced each other it was RCB who triumphed in a close encounter in which the results were got in the super over. So MI will be keen to take back their revenge and to seal there spot in the playoffs with the 16 points mark.
Coming to there last game both have faced lost there previous game against ‘Delhi Capitals’ and ‘Chennai super kings‘ respectively. On one hand Royal challengers struggled with there batting and were restricted to mere 145 run by CSK which could not be defended and MI lost a thriller as well.
Keeping the conditions in Mind playing Dale steyn would be a better decision on a wicket like the Abu dhabi which offers swing in the latter half of the Match and Replacing Aaron finch with Another man could be a risky one to go for,as too many changes might cost RCB tonight.
As far as MI are concerned there bowling isn’t looking too deceptive as the type of bowlers they’ve got. But scoring nearly 35-50 runs without losing a wicket is what RCB will look for.
While chasing it will be of utmost importance for the RCB bowlers to get at least 2 wickets( Atleast both the openers )in the powerplay to put some pressure on the MI batting lineup. Later it will be crucial to see how spinners of RCB bowl to power-hitters like Hardik and Pollard.
