RCB vs CSK: Pre-match Analysis and Game plan

Royal Challengers Bangalore have managed to get their 2nd win of the season after scoring  213/4 which was posted on innings of  Virat kohli 100(58) and Moeen ali 66 off 28 which  laid the foundation for a huge Total. Both of them had a 90 runs partnership of 46 as well.

Moeen show against Kuldeep :

RCB had scored 122/2 in 15 overs but it was time for some humongous hitting and that is what Moeen Ali did to the Chinaman Kuldeep yadav piling up 27 runs from the 5 deliveries he played before giving away his wicket in an attempt to go for the big shot.RCB went on to score 149 at the end of the over.

It has been a good  game for the RCB after the win against KKR. Now they are going to take on CSK in the M.Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.CSK have lost to the Sunrisers Hyderabad in absence of  Dhoni and Bravo. They didn’t score enough runs and could barely manage to put 132/8  against Hyderabad and couldn’t stop them chasing down the Target. It shows that they are very much dependent on MS Dhoni and his presence as they weren’t able to make right decisions while they were bowling. If Dhoni will play the Match it will be crucial for them as his presence and those crucial decision making is required which was totally absent in Chennai’s previous game.

RCB will look to play AB de villiers again if he is fit as he will only add strength to their batting lineup. They will try and improve in their bowling decisions as they made a narrow escape by winning the previous game by only 10 runs.

Winning Formula of CSK against RCB:

  1. CSK will have to take minimum of 2-3 wickets in the power play to restrict RCB to Small Total.
  2. Spinners looked as wicket taking option for CSK so it will be Imraan Tahir and Ravindra jadeja who will play a crucial role for them.
  3. Also Medium Pacer Deepak Chahar will be the key bowler with the New ball.

Winning Formula of  RCB against CSK:

  1. RCB have to make sure they take wickets with Chahal in the Power play and not bowl overs of Dale Steyn in the power play.
  2. They can play Umesh instead of siraj so that it becomes easy for them to have options in the death bowling.
